							In the light of the unique design of Down Under Pots®, it is true to say that Mea Souris is a designer. However, her formal training and real creative passion dwells in the realm of sculptural portraiture and architectural ceramics. Mea's sculptural work is primarily figurative and her preoccupation with human form and expression in her art filters into her sculptural and painted works. In recent years, Mea has developed a growing export market for her unique ceramic designs, and has completed several architectural and portrait commissions. Mea has worked in this field for over 25 years, and continues to do so………………. Her studio is at Tinderbox, Tasmania, and so is she from time to time.
